yep. Conversion vans had a brief flash of popularity as the “mom-mobile” in the early-mid ‘80s, before the minivan really took hold. And they were terrible; the work done by upfitters wasn’t always top notch.
where is this? an ‘80s Econoline with what looks like no trace of rust is something I haven’t seen in a long time.

disagree. they were awesome. my parents had one and i loved it. VCR and radio in the back for passengers, every seat was plush and comfy, rear most seat folded flat (and yes, my now wife and i totally did), real v8 power, great towing capacity, mood lighting.... list goes on.
